It’s a photo finish!… Team Griffeth/Eggebeen do a double
knock-out to take the 2nd place spot for the championship!
Highlights for June 30, 2010
1). 1st Half is now completed and the top winners of the first half are determined:
VanDyke/Lemkuil took the first position and Team Griiffeth/Eggebeen (3) and
Saukas/Lewis (11) tied for the #2 position. However, only 1 team can advance.
Team Griffeth/Eggebeen did a double knock-out by beating a “somewhat tough”
team (VanderPoorte/Seise) on the course and then beating out Team Saukas/
Lewis by winning the hardest handicapped hole Wednesday night. They take the
2nd place spot for the championship! Congratulations!
2). Bill VanderPoorte takes Performance Enhancing Drug Test after numerous
complaints of winning too many Event Holes!
After many complaints of Bill VanderPoorte’s last week’s performance of winning
3 out of 4 events, a drug test was administered and the results were negative.
However, they did find traces of “Cealis”.
3). Cal VanNoord… continues to spend a lot of time with a personal Golf
Coach. How many private lessons does he need? Is this guy serious or what?
4). The Kitty brought in $30.00 this week for our year-end. Thanks everyone!
5). The Second Half starts next week and everyone’s points go back to “0”.
The winners of the second half will play the winners of the 1st half for the 2010

Highlights for the week of 6-23-10:
1). Congrats to Bill VanderPoorte who won 3 out of the 4 event holes.
That beats Ed Nieuwenhuis’s Record of 2 out of 4. Nice shooting Bill! (…and he didn’t win the 60 and over Longest Drive).
2). Speaking of Ed Nieuwenhuis… he had a chip in off the green for a birdie on #8. What a shot!
3). Several Teams tied going into the last hole and long putts were made to capture the win. What good matches this week!
4). One of the coolest teams (Trap/Baylis)… made a few adjustments and took the “W” this week. Good playing Bill(s).
5). Devries/Miller Team brought an abruptly end to the VanNoord/VanOss win streak. Was this a fluke or will VanNoord/VanOss team get back on track for another streak? Cal is very serious with his golf couch and will be putting in extra time in the next few weeks!
6). The CLC Kitty brought in $25 this week. This will be used for our year end outing.
We received more event prizes! This is awesome thanks everyone!
7). We have only one week left and the top 2 teams will advance and play the winners of the second half for the championship! It’s still anyone’s call!
See you on the 1st Tee!

1). Glen Miller’s “Yes” putter said yes to a 20’ putt. It went in, then out, then back in for the longest putt on #18. Wow!
2). Now we know for sure the VanNoord/VanOss Team is on a roll. Congrats on their second win!
(Cal has been getting special instructions from his new friend)
3). Ed Talen is back with us again. Good to have you back to join us again Ed!
4). The Schutt/Buursma the first team that won prizes for both members. What are the odds? Any witnesses?
5). Kitty amount this week $30. Thanks everyone!
6). I’m getting a lot of positive feedback on the golf tip of the week. It has improved several golfers’ performance in just a few weeks.

1). We had 5 Teams on the Leader Board last week and now we are down to 2 Teams with 3 weeks left.
(Check the Website for more information).
2). Congrats to VanNoord/VanOss Team who took their first win. Are these guys on a roll?
3). Bob Devries had an Eagle on #9! That’s a 3 on a Long Par 5. It’s unbelievable!
4). Carlos Siese is back from his TV appearance… He had a hard time staying focus with the paparazzi (and signing autographs) at the course and handed the win to a strategic Smith/Versluis Team. These guys are good!
